History
Super mambo acrobatic troup consists of 7 Kenyan acrobats it was formed in 1994 as Dandora Junior Acrobats as part of Nairobi
city council community programs.We compited in some N.C.C inter communial competions.
- In 1995 we attained the second position and 1st position in 1996.
- In 1998 we joined the D-Rocky group of Artists and changed our name to D-Rocky Super Mambo "B", under D-Rocky we got alot of training and exposure. Our show consists of Gymnastics, Juggling, Perfect Balance, Hoops Diving, Chairs and Fire show.
- In 2000 D-Rocky "A" Acrobats went abroad and left us all their local contacts , which we handled to the satisfaction of our clients.
- In 2001 we dropped the name D-Rocky and remained as Super Mambo Acrobats.
In Kenya , we bave performed in states functions, performed for major companies like KTN, Kencell, Safaricom, Kenya Airways and restaurants like International Casino, Windsor, Splash Water World, Sports View hotel, City Cabanas, and made daily shows at Safari Park Hotel from the year 2003 untill April 2004.
- In April 2004 our dream come true we found an italian company (arcipelago Circo Teatro) through Sarakasi Trust organization. They offered us Circus job (Circo Massimo) in Rome.
A month later, we joined the second Italian Theatre company (Pantakin da Venezia ) and made the production "Creature" composing of Acrobatics blended with Theatre.
The show has made a great success made over 200 shows in different Festivals in over 8 European countries.
Curently, we are still on tour with the show "creature" for the second year running and due to the demand of the show we will make the third year, with the same show.
Apart from performing , in Kenya we taught acrobatics to children at Good Seeds Children Home, Local boys in our community French school of Nairobi and made Acrobatic lessons and demonstrations for one week in Venice Italy.
Our hope is to continue with our quality shows to the satisfaction of our clients ali over the world We believe we've got great potential and energy and the sky is our limit.
